Who We Are
Youth Employment and Social Support Operation (YESSO) was conceived when the Federal Government approached the World Bank for financial assistance to tackle youth unemployment in the country in the year 2011
The support operation aims to fill the targeting and payment system gaps noticed in interventions of the past.
YESSO supports existing institutions to help strengthen their capacities for poverty alleviation.

Mandate
To build a register of the poor and vulnerable through a process known as Community Based Targeting (CBT) which uses the local knowledge of community members on poverty to identify the poor and vulnerable in their midst
